Gimme Chords

Privacy

Your progressions, saved library and settings are stored only in your browser. Nothing you compose is uploaded.

If you buy Pro, payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, under its own privacy policy. To unlock Pro, this site sends your licence key and a device label (for example "Safari on Mac") to Lemon Squeezy to check it. We do not receive or store your card details, and we do not store your name or email.

When you press Copy link, the progression itself (chords, timing, pattern and tempo, nothing about you) is stored so the short link can open it. Anyone with the link can see that progression.

There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and no third party scripts or fonts: everything the page loads comes from this site. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Questions about an order, a refund or a subscription go to Lemon Squeezy, our reseller, from your receipt email. Pro members can also reach us directly from the Pro panel in the app.
